Apple Crisp







Apple Crisp


INGREDIENTS:
7 medium Granny Smith Apples, cored & diced up
1 1/4 cup Almond Flour
1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil (melted)
1/2 cup of Pecan Halves (unsalted)
juice of 1 lemon
2 Tbsp of my Apple Pie Spice (listed on this page)
1/4 cup of Honey
Apple Pie Spice
1/4 cup ground Cinnamon
1 Tbsp ground Allspice
2 tsp ground Nutmeg
2 tsp ground Ginger
1/2 tsp ground Cardamom











DIRECTIONS: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Peel, core & slice the apples. Toss them in the lemon juice, honey, & apple pie spice. Pour the apple mixture in a 9 x 9 glass pan. In a separate microwave safe bowl melt the coconut oil, mix in the almond flour & pecans. Use a fork to make crumbles & flake on top of the apples. Cover with foil and bake for an hour, remove the foil halfway threw.

  2. It is amazing! A good way to sneak a healthy desert in during the holidays!! I didn't include the calorie count because it really depends on the brands of ingredients you use.
